Please follow all LEGAL requirements for state and federal transfers

This forum, and it's managers, admins, and moderators, do not condone or encourage any illegal activity, whatsoever. You MUST follow all state and federal requirements with regard to the transfer of guns of any sort.

Inter-State transfer of any guns, whether long guns or hand guns, requires the intervention of a FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer. Background checks MUST be done during the course of those transfers. Any felon or other person not qualified to receive a gun, should not seek to trade for a gun. Any suspected illegal activity here will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.

It is the responsibility of the all traders to proceed with any gun trades carefully and legally. This forum provides for only a method of communication between parties.     Wanted: Beretta 96 complete slide

    Will buy or trade for a complete Beretta 96 slide. To be used as a Beretta 92 conversion.
    Also interested in magazines for same.

    Is that a straight across swap, just add a magazine and you've swapped calibers?
    If so, I'm intrigued and may just order a barrel, slide and mag from Beretta USA. Have to be sure that the decocker is on the slide not the frame like the Taurus.

      I had a 96G complete "upper" years ago and sold it and wish I hadn't. Yes it's a straight across the board swap out, simply remove the 92 complete slide and replace with a complete 96 slide. swap 92 mag for 96 mag and you're shooting 40S&W instead of 9mm. I don't think Beretta will sell you, or anyone else a complete slide for a 96, if you find out otherwise please inform. Most of these 96 slides were police trade ins years ago.
