Please follow all LEGAL requirements for state and federal transfers

This forum, and it's managers, admins, and moderators, do not condone or encourage any illegal activity, whatsoever. You MUST follow all state and federal requirements with regard to the transfer of guns of any sort.

Inter-State transfer of any guns, whether long guns or hand guns, requires the intervention of a FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer. Background checks MUST be done during the course of those transfers. Any felon or other person not qualified to receive a gun, should not seek to trade for a gun. Any suspected illegal activity here will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.

    WTT Old-timer Ideal 310 tool for newer Lyman 310

    I have one of the older Ideal caliber-specific tong tools in 38 Special. This tool is steel and in very good shape. Would like to trade for a Lyman small tong that I can use to load 45acp, 45auto rim, etc. Your die can be aluminum or whatever, as long as it is in good shape. My steel tong lists for $100 at the 310 store, but I will trade even.

    I have several 310 tools but I don't know whether I have a spare pistol size one since I usually used them for rifles. I'll try to check this weekend. Can I assume that you have the adaptor ring with your 45 ACP die set, or do you need that as well? BTW, is your Ideal tool nickel plated or blued? It isn't the kind with the bullet mould on it is it?
