WC820 Original application is for the U.S. Cal. .30 Carbine Ball M1 round.

This powder, when used in M1 Carbine, loads at 13.5gr with 110gr FMJ projectile.

This is a ball powder which can be loaded using Hodgdon H110 data.
Ideal for .410 shotgun and the .357 & .44 Magnums.

There is ***NO LOAD DATA*** for H110 in any .308 Win listings on Hodgdon's data site:

I would call them and ask one of their techies how they feel about H110 in .308 Win. I'm betting they give you a NO GO.

i have shot this in my 30-06 at 18 gr. seems a nice medium to light load ... thought a 308 will be ok at 14 gr. i believe i saw an article with wc820 in the 30-30 at about this load 14 gr, ill look see and edit this post.
      ok here it is

an exellent article from junior daughty , ( hope i spelled that correctly )

it was 14.4 gr in a 30-30 so i figure a 308 is a little higher pressure rated , should handle at least 14.0 starting , same weight boolit... but dont know if the case capacity will be more or less than the 30-30

tried this at 14 worked up to 17 gr. seemed a nice amount , no filler and no signs of pressure by looking at the primer, started getting flatter at 17 gr. so i stopped there ... the 30-30 is 45 and the 308 is 53 in units of water so 17 shouldnt be too much ..
