Please follow all LEGAL requirements for state and federal transfers

Notice:
This forum, and it's managers, admins, and moderators, do not condone or encourage any illegal activity, whatsoever. You MUST follow all state and federal requirements with regard to the transfer of guns of any sort.

Inter-State transfer of any guns, whether long guns or hand guns, requires the intervention of a FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer. Background checks MUST be done during the course of those transfers. Any felon or other person not qualified to receive a gun, should not seek to trade for a gun. Any suspected illegal activity here will be forwarded to the appropriate authorities for prosecution.

It is the responsibility of the all traders to proceed with any gun trades carefully and legally. This forum provides for only a method of communication between parties. And, neither your participation here, nor any trades that you arrange, create any real or implied legal implication of the forum, it's admins, managers, or moderators. We are not a party to your trade arrangements.

    what makes this board such a magnet for spammers?

    I frequent a lot of boards and none of them get spammed like this one. I wonder what's so special about this place?

    No full time spam hammers.
    There's plenty of spammers on the castboolits forum, I kill them before they can start.
    This board is such low traffic that a full time spam hammer probably doesn't make sense.
    I think word gets out in the spammer community where the easy targets are, and where the hard targets are.

      Well it certainly is annoying. I hope there is some sort of control that lets you delete all posts by a user and you don't have to go through one at a time.

        as trey so aptly put it - it's not just this forum ,and yeah they're annoying , some really so ,some get got before they start and some can seemingly somehow post 100 visitor messages and twice as many post in less than an hour ...
        hit the report button
        some forums have different cut off points for mass deletion or mass pm's ( or both ) the handloadersbench for quite some time had it to where you could not use a g-mail addy to sign up because at one time that was the preferred spammer addy , some decent folks were affected by it as well ...yes sir spammers suck ummm also if they post a link NEVER EVER click on it !!

          Might be a chicken and egg thing.

          Maybe the traffic is so low because of the spam.

            Over the course of 3 days one spammer here had over 2000 threads started with SPAM. That is amazing to me that NO ONE did anything about it for 3 days!

            And today there's a brand new commie spammer spamming away.
